Bombardier Global 5000 N667BB visits Hamilton Island - de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter VH-BVS sighted at Bundaberg

There is rarely a dull moment at Hamilton Island Airport, and that includes visits by exotic aircraft from abroad, and among the most recent sightings by one of our contributors - Pete B - was US registered Delaware Trust Co Trustee Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 N667BB.

While exact movements of N667BB remains limited, we can confirm the aircraft was captured at Hamilton Island at the weekend.

Another recent note worthy visitor at Hamilton Island was the arrival of Twenty 27 (IOM) Limited Bombardier BD-100-1A10 Challenger 350 M-SGJS from Queenstown, NZ, via Gold Coast on Saturday, March 18, and remained parked until departing to Seletar, Singapore, via Darwin on Monday, March 20.

Meanwhile, Bundaberg planespotter - Micah S - has shared a couple of great photo's of Seair Pacific / Istlecote de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter VH-BVS sighted at the rum city on Sunday, March 19.

Possibly arriving from Lady Elliot Island, VH-BVS took onboard 500 litres of fuel before continuing onwards to Hervey Bay. While photographing the 'Otter', Micah noticed a sizeable dent on the leading edge of the starboard wing, and can be clearly seen if you take a closer look.

Another movement worth highlighting, Lloyd Helicopters / RAAF Rescue Sikorsky S-76A VH-HRP also took onboard fuel at Bundaberg (and Rockhampton) on Sunday while ferrying north to Mackay from RAAF Base Amberley, near Ipswich.
