Reportedly a brand new aircraft, N142GZ touched down at Mackay from Ngurah Rai / Bali Intl via Darwin on Monday, February 09 and believed to have been imported by the same company that operates locally based Raytheon 390 Premier 1 N7088S.
Classified as a mid-sized business jet, the Legacy 500 was officially launched in 2008, along with its smaller sibling, the Legacy 450 and can be configured to carry up to 12 passengers.
Powered by a pair of Honeywell HTF7500E turbofans, the official Embraer website indicates the Legacy 500 can achieve an approximate range of 5 788 km, cruise at 466 knots (863 km/h) and certified to a service ceiling of 45 000 ft. However, please be informed these performance numbers are dependant on payload, configuration and climate conditions.
