Unfortunately, the temporary basing of six Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Boeing F-15SG Strike Eagle fighter jets at Rockhampton Airport for 'Exercise Wallaby 2016' came to an end on Monday, October 03, when the aircraft departed the beef capital for Darwin on the first leg of thier return journey to Paya Lebar Air Base, Singapore.
However, due to technical difficulties, only four of the six F-15's took-off as scheduled, with the departure of the remaining two F-15's re-scheduled for Tuesday.

Due to ongoing serviceability issues, the departure of the two F-15's were further delayed to Wednesday, and upon leaving Rockhampton, turned back a short while later due unexpected complications. This reportedly included dumping fuel while returning.
At the time of posting, it remained to-be-seen when the remaining F-15's will successfully leave Rockhampton for thier homeward bound journey.
In the meantime, here are some photo's depicting the four RSAF F-15's preparing to leave as planned on Monday.
