As reported at our Facebook page, Shazo Holdings / Professional Jet Services Cessna 525 Citation 1 VH-CDG visited Bundaberg on Tuesday, May 23, and local planespotter Micah S was on hand to capture the aircraft's mid-morning arrival from the Gold Coast.
Reportedly carrying only two people, a pilot and a passenger, VH-CDG remained parked at the rum city until departing back to Coolangatta later that afternoon.
Meanwhile, Micah has also forward a number of photo's taken on Monday, May 22, when Australian Army Aviation (AAAvn) Commonwealth CA-32 (Bell 206B / OH-58A) Kiowa helicopters A17-015 and A17-039 landed at Bundaberg Airport to take onboard fuel while on a northbound journey as 'Breaker'.
Departing a short while later, both choppers landed at Rockhampton Airport, and again were refuelled before continuing further north.
Other sightings at Bundaberg Airport this week include QantasLink de Havilland Dash 8-Q300 VH-TQZ preparing to depart the rum city to Brisbane as QF2323 on Monday, May 22.
The de Havilland had earlier arrived from the state capital as QF2320, and operated services to Hervey Bay / Fraser Coast and Charleville on the day.
Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Beechcraft B200 Super King Air VH-FDI and VH-FDS have also been active. But then again, unless receiving attention, there is rarely an extended moment when RFDS aircraft are not transporting patients.
Last but not least, Stirling Consolidated Bell 206B (II) Jet Ranger VH-JAQ was observed landing at Bundaberg Airport to take onboard fuel on Tuesday, May 23. Unfortunately, exact movements of the helicopter is unknown.
