Exercise Wallaby 2016 - Lockheed C-130H Hercules medium lift cargo plane

For the duration of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) 'Exercise Wallaby' military exercises that are conducted annually at the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA), the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) often base at least one Lockheed C-130H Hercules medium lift cargo plane at Rockhampton Airport for the purpose of ferrying support equipment and supplies to and from the beef capital. Many of these flights often fly between Darwin, NT and Rockhampton.

Operated by 122 Squadron at Paya Lebar Air Base, Singapore, the RSAF currently maintains a fleet of ten Hercules aircraft comprising six C-130H models that are primarily used as dedicated cargo transporters, and four aerial refuelling derivatives known as KC-130B's.
