During the final moments of enjoying a couple of days at Rockhampton with the family which included attending "Talisman Saber 2015 Open Day" at the showgrounds, popped-by the airport before travelling home to Gladstone on Monday, July 06 and observed Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) Heron A45-253 being towed about the airport including along parts of runway 15/33.
We assume the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was undergoing testing or calibrations of some sort before taking to the skies and participating in Talisman Saber 2015 at nearby Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).
