Aeromil Pacific Cessna T240 (TTx) N362CS demonstrates it's worth at the Rockhampton Aero Club

As expected, Maroochydore / Sunshine Coast Airport based Aeromil Pacific visited the Rockhampton Aero Club on Saturday, May 09 to demonstrate one of the newer members in the Cessna lineup, an Cessna T240 (TTx).

During the visit at the beef capital, Rockhampton Aero Club's Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) Jan Rebello and pilot / member / newsletter editor / passer of general information and what-ever else he can think off (phew ... what a big title) Paul Tyler were fortunate to take to the skies for a local ride aboard the aircraft.

Nestled in the rear seat was Paul and has kindly forwarded a number of fantastic photo's captured on the occasion.

Originally built by Columbia Aircraft as the Columbia 400, the aircraft evolved as the Cessna T240 (TTx) from 2013 onwards and reportedly powered by a twin turbocharged Continental TSIO-550-C engine producing 310 horsepower (230 kW) at 2600 rpm.

According to the official Aeromil Pacific website, the TTx is capable of achieving a maximum cruise speed of 235 knots ... wow, that is quick for a fixed gear lightie.

Seating arrangement allows upto 4 people (pilot, 3 passengers).
