After attending the Australian International Airshow 2015 at Avalon near Geelong, it was time to make my way home to Central Queensland which involved flying back to Gladstone from Melbourne / Tullamarine via Brisbane.
As the first of a two-sector return trip, Qantas Airways Boeing 737-800 VH-VXE operated the Melbourne - Brisbane leg and I was fortunate to be invited for a quick look at the flightdeck shortly after touching down at the Queensland capital.
